Spreading yoga and giving back through our nonprofit Alo Gives remain two of our top priorities here at Alo, so we're always excited when we can combine the two for something really special. Today we're doing just that, with a benefit yoga class for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the leading hospital for treating and defeating childhood cancer, and all the incredible work they do! Hosted by Odette Annable, Jamie Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, the private vinyasa flow class will help spread awareness about St. Jude while celebrating movement and all the good that comes from practicing yoga. It's a cause close to our heart, and we're so excited to be supporting the hospital in helping more and more children fight cancer and lead healthier, happier lives every day. Want to get involved? Stop by our Grove store today and shop for some new Alo. A portion of all proceeds from in-store sales will benefit St. Jude!
Children and their families from around the world seek treatment at St. Jude because of the hospital's amazing advancements in research, prevention and treatment for pediatric catastrophic diseases, and the majority of their funding comes from outside donors, which ensures that families don't pay a dime for treatment, travel, housing or food. Since St. Jude opened 50 years ago, the childhood cancer survival rate has grown from 20% to 80%, thanks in part to their breakthrough work, and they're working toward an even brighter future for these kids every single day. Their goal? 100%. And we want to help them get there!
