The rule for yoga postures is pretty simple: what you put into them, you'll get out of them. Warrior II is no different—if you're practicing it correctly, it should provide a pretty amazing full-body stretch. The wide stance creates space in the legs while the outstretched arms open the chest and shoulders. The key here is that your whole body should be engaged, and if done correctly, you'll be feeling it. A staple in vinyasa classes, Warrior II is one of those poses that requires more than meets the eye, so we made a quick cheat sheet to help you get a handle on it.
